Let us get
familiarized with what is meant by PASSION. Going by the literal definition,
PASSION - a strong feeling or an emotion from a person or a thing! Well, if you
are inquisitive enough and a good observer, I'm sure this little thing won't
have gone unnoticed, though its small yet it holds great and unparalleled spot
in everyone's life. Without passion a person is like a car without a driver,
meaningless and worthless. It can undoubtedly be called the "driving
force". Everybody has their own defined passions for different objects of
interests, having already talked about what is meant by Passion, let us now
shift our focus and talk about the very essence of Passion. It has without any
doubt, won the title of "Necessary evil" as it is not only difficult
to go about a work at hand without being zealous but it makes it almost a
Herculean task. One needs to comprehend the power of passion and become
acquainted with it for their own good. Though it is advisable to start
burgeoning to master the very art of being passionate, it is never late to
start. One can begin today, begin now. The Indian society is on an ever
expanding spree and is finally coming into the picture of making its' presence
felt on the research and development front, however, there is a long way to go
and for that very purpose the young population needs to take a hold of the
current situation and assuage India to become a supremo in the research field.
We can only assume this to happen if we go about our work with Passion. Passion
paves way for self expression in the crudest way possible. All that is needed
at this time of the hour is to apprise people about the NEED TO BE PASSIONATE
for research and help in turning no stone unturned in order to tread the path
of SUCCESS. In India, 60% of the population is below 35; with that gratifying
figure it is not at all something unachievable, if each one of us give our
heart into the work and mimic passion. After all ain't it always prophesied,
follow your heart till the end. The passion for research is something that
should be accentuated at high school level, where a person is contemplative of
the varied choices and plethora of opportunities and is raring to go and is
creatively animated. I've found my calling and now it's time for you to take
out time from your hectic schedule and take a sneak peak into your life, your
soul and your purpose. Everything that happens has a set purpose behind
it, all you need to do to recognize yours and to INTROSPECT! And once you
know what you want, burn the midnight oil; make it the only driving force
of your life. THAT’S WHAT PASSION IS ALL ABOUT!
